We’re excited to announce that Macie and the Magic Dirt, the latest children’s picture book from Macieverse Media House, will officially be released in May 2025—just in time for International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW), the largest and most comprehensive education initiative of the compost industry, managed by the Compost Research & Education Foundation (CREF).

The story of Macie and the Magic Dirt has been an incredible project, blending imagination with the science of sustainability to inspire families, businesses, and organizations to turn “Waste to WOW!” It’s about showing kids (and grown-ups) how even tiny actions—like composting—can help create a healthier, greener planet.
