🚨 Breaking: The Upside Down Could’ve Been Solved With a Beanstalk.

When you delivered your passionate lines in Chapter 7: The Bridge of Stranger Things 5:

Somewhere off-screen last night, this children’s book author stood up and said: “FINALLY. He gets it.”

Because Steve—that’s the whole lesson behind Macie and the Magic Beans.

You see, in the Macieverse there is no Upside Down.

Just a sandbox, a bunch of fallen blocks, and the powerful life lesson that nothing strong gets built in a hurry.

In Macie’s world:

• The castle falls down

• The beans don’t grow overnight

• Everyone wants the beanstalk… but nobody wants to wait

So, whether you’re:

This picture book is written for ages 3–6, so they’re not watching Stranger Things on Netflix just yet. 😉

But they are big fans of their shows like Ms. Rachel, Elmo, and, if they’re anything like my granddaughter Macie, stories where things fall down, feelings get big, and someone patiently says, “Let’s try again.”

Different monsters.

Same life lesson.

Steve didn’t need a magic bean.

Macie didn’t either.

They just needed time… and a little trust in the process.
