Grandpa’s Wisdom Wednesday: Knowing When to Wait and When to Act 🌱✨
Hey Little One, Some things, like your garden, take time and care—you can’t rush them. But other things, like trying something new, you can do right away!
This week, Grandpa’s wisdom reminded me of how often I’ve let my consulting brain, which loves asking “why” at least five times and analyzing every angle, slow me down when quick action was needed. Over time (and now with more road behind me than in front of me 😂 ), I trust my instincts and embrace a bias for action…whenever I can!
Writing and publishing Macie and the Magic Veggies was one of my “act now” moments. Instead of overthinking the why, I embraced the why not. And with several more children’s books on the way, I’ve found that taking the first step often opens doors to more magic than I could’ve imagined.
The lesson? Know when to give time and care to something that needs it—like a garden or a big dream. But when action makes sense, don’t let overthinking stop you from planting that first seed.
You might just be surprised by what grows! 💚 🌱✨
What’s something you’ve been thinking about doing that might need a little action today?
