Thanksgiving is a moment to honor the people who teach us to grow—literally and figuratively.
When I look at this scene of Farmer Lundyn guiding Macie and her crew, I’m reminded how learning begins in simple moments: a question asked, a story shared, a seed planted.
Gratitude begins with the people who teach us to plant, nurture, and share.
This Thursday, I’ll be giving thanks for the real-life farmers, educators, nonprofit leaders, and community builders who guide the next generation with the same patience, curiosity, and care we bring to life in the stories of the Macieverse.
Across classrooms, fields, gardens, kitchens, and community tables, these are the people who remind us that growing food—and growing each other—go hand in hand. And I’m proud to work to support our Access to Fresh team, including Nichole Dube and real-life “Farmer Lundyn”, who show up every day driven by our mission to build community through food.
As we celebrate this season, give thanks to the people who teach us, the ones we learn from, and those we have the privilege to help grow in return.
Wishing everyone a meaningful, joy-filled Thanksgiving. 💚
