Speak Up, Little One—It’s Time for Grandpa’s Wisdom Wednesday 🌱
More sage advice from Grandpa to Macie today! (Gotta love that guy!!)
There have been many moments in my life—maybe yours too—when saying something out loud felt risky.
(Even now, with plenty of “uncomfortable conversations” behind me… it’s still not easy. But I push through 😁)
What if I was wrong?
What if I stood alone?
What if I made someone uncomfortable?
But here’s what I’ve learned over time:
✨ When you speak what others are only thinking, you open a door.
💬 A door to clarity.
💬 A door to connection.
💬 A door to change.
Sure, it might feel awkward. Even embarrassing.
But most times, it’s welcomed. Appreciated. Needed.
Because silence doesn’t always mean agreement.
Sometimes, it just means someone’s waiting for a leader to go first.
So if you’re holding back something helpful, heartfelt, or honest—
Be brave and share your voice!
And maybe… to help someone else find theirs, too.
Grandpa’s teaching Macie how to speak up in the Macieverse—
And we’re learning, too… in boardrooms, classrooms, community centers, and around dinner tables across the country.
Plant those seeds of courage.
That’s how we all grow. 💚
