Wow, is it Wednesday already? Well, you know what that means—
Time for Grandpa’s Wisdom Wednesday!
This week, Grandpa shares some wise words with his Little One about believing in yourself:
“Hey Little One, remember, the most important person to believe in is you!”
Grandpa’s advice to Macie touches on something many of us struggle with. Whether you’re starting something new or achieving a long-awaited goal, it’s easy to feel like you’re not good enough or like you’re just “pretending” to belong.

I’ve had (HAVE) my own battles with imposter syndrome throughout my career. Even when I’ve succeeded, that little voice can creep in, asking, “Do I really deserve to be here?”
But Grandpa’s wisdom reminds us that we must believe in our abilities and trust our path. At the end of the day, the most important person to believe in is ourselves.
One thing that has really helped me over the years is helping others navigate their own imposter syndrome. I’ve used this strategy throughout my career—whenever I’m struggling or feel stuck, I find someone who needs help.
Shifting my focus away from my own doubts and into supporting someone else has been incredibly powerful. It gives me a much-needed break from overthinking (yup, I tend to do that 🤔 ), and seeing how that pause is often exactly what I need to reach the next level is inspiring.
There’s something about lifting others up that strengthens our own confidence. Helping someone else can be the perfect reminder that we have the skills and knowledge to succeed—we just need to believe in ourselves.
What steps are you taking to trust yourself this week?
