It’s time for Grandpa’s Wisdom Wednesday!
“Hey Little One, the magic we see is in all the work we don’t.” —Grandpa✨
This week’s dose of wisdom comes from sharing an early cut of our I Love My Berries music video—featuring animated Macie in all her berry-loving glory.
I played it for a few of my favorite early critics (aka family) 😁
They smiled, hummed along, and enjoyed the moment.
But when I pulled back the curtain and showed them what went into just a few seconds of animation—the dozens of sketches, the movement tests, the hundreds of layered files and revisions for one berry-tossing scene—their jaws dropped.
That’s when they really understood:
The magic isn’t just in what we see—it’s in all the unseen work that brings it to life.
So here’s my take on Grandpa’s Wisdom: Show your work!
Not for the applause, but so others can appreciate the care, craft, and story behind what you’ve built.
Because the final product isn’t just in the pixels.
It’s in the passion, the persistence, and the process that made it possible.
And speaking of magic in the making—get ready!✨
The Access to Fresh Bounty Bus is rolling out soon, powered by our “Books for Berries” campaign. 📚🫐
Details coming soon on how the book release of Macie and the Magic Berries—a story about sharing nature’s gifts and helping friends in need—will help deliver fresh fruit to kids this summer.
Stay tuned!
