🌱 Grandpa’s Wisdom Wednesday 🌱

“Hey Little One, the more curious you stay, the more stories you’ll have to tell — no matter your age!”

Grandpa’s words to Macie have been echoing in my mind this week.

Soon, I’m turning another page in my story — (one that the Social Security Administration officially calls a milestone 😉)

And let me tell you… The reactions have been entertaining!

Some people have said:

“Wow, I didn’t realize you were THAT old!” 😳

And others have said — a little softer, with that careful pause:

“Wow… I didn’t realize you were that old.” 😅

And honestly? I’m not sure which one surprises me more — or stings more 🤣

But here’s what I keep coming back to:

Age just counts the stories you’ve gathered.

Curiosity? That’s what keeps adding new ones.

So, I’m doing my best to stay curious every day:

✨ Asking new questions

✨ Taking on new challenges

✨ Investing in moments with family and friends

✨ And planting seeds for the future — stories yet to be told

As Kenny Chesney sings:

“It’s a hang on kinda ride, we’re spinning through space and time,

Rocking this big old rock just tryna have some fun.

So let’s drink another beer, here’s to another year,

Let’s take another crazy trip around the sun.” 🎶☀️🌎

Here’s to the next trip around the sun — and plenty of new stories along the way.
