Here it is — the very first sketch from the latest book in the Macieverse…Macie and the Magic Beans!

Macie and her best friend Mia are doing exactly what kids do best — racing through their snacks (fresh, local green beans from Farmer Lundyn, of course!) so they can play outside before the sun goes down.

In the background, their castle-building dreams are waiting in the sandbox — along with a few lessons that haven’t taken root yet.

But when their plans tumble down, it’s Grandpa who offers a little guidance… and a few shiny beans that just might be magic.
