Patience Builds Strength… Even in Publishing 📘

That’s the central lesson of my next children’s picture book, Macie and the Magic Beans—and yesterday it showed up in real life.

The first print proof arrived, and before I could even set the Amazon box down, Macie stepped into her role as lead reviewer.

Pages were flipped.

Illustrations were studied.

No final verdict just yet, but hey, just like the book itself, she’s taking her time.

This story is all about learning that growth can’t be rushed.

Beans don’t grow overnight.

Strong castles aren’t built in a hurry.

And good things—stories included—benefit from patience, care, and a little trust in the process.

Of course, as soon as we get official approval, I’ll share the release date, which is currently planned for next week.

For now, we’ll just give the boss the space she needs to enjoy the book on her own schedule. 😉
